My Fascination with Decorating!
Too many things make up a beginning, so I'll make my story short. I first became fascinated with interior decorating and design when I ran across my mother's old decorating books. Although I'd pretty much looked back at the style of my early childhood (late '70's) and said Bleech! like everyone else, I soon began to find it fascinating. I'd grown up in a house filled with antiques, and never realized before just how neat modern stuff is! The colours, the patterns, the fabrics, new materials and techniques all fascinated me. The progress made in the last 100 years on the "home" front is simply amazing!...
In the last couple of years I've taken a side trip from Interior Design - I've taken up weaving. Please visit my Weaving Studio.
